WASHINGTON (Rueters) – Congressional Democrats are pledging to move forward quickly with subpoenas to obtain Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s full report on Russian interference in the U.S. 2016 election after an early version of a heavily blacked-out page Wednesday raised red flags in anti-Trump World.
Attorney General William Barr on Thursday is expected to release a version of the roughly 400-page report for public consumption but concerns over the abundance of redactions — as well as questions about what findings some members of Mueller’s team are trying to make public — are emerging quickly.
A day before the planned release of a redacted version of the report, President Donald Trump went to Twitter to renew his attacks on the special counsel’s investigation and the FBI. But it was pretty much the same old crap he’s been dishing for nearly two years: “Witch hunt, hoax, 13 angry Democrats, I love Wikileaks…”

It was this leaked, heavily redacted page, however, that had congressional leaders most concerned. “We need to get to the bottom of this,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), told Rueters. “What are the redactors trying to tell us?”
Huh?
The Democratic-led House of Representatives Judiciary Committee voted on April 3 to authorize its chairman, Jerrold Nadler, to issue subpoenas to the Justice Department to obtain Mueller’s unredacted report and all underlying evidence, as well as documents and testimony from five former Trump aides.
In recent weeks, both The New York Times and Washington Post have reported former members of Mueller’s team have shared with associates their displeasure with what Barr described in his four-page “summary” of the full report, namely there was no collusion by Trump’s campaign with Russia and Trump’s behavior during the investigation of Russia’s activities didn’t meet the requirements of obstruction of justice. Neither claim has been substantiated by anything released at this point, however.
WHAT DO AMERICANS SAY AT THIS CRITICAL TIME?
A new national poll indicates most Americans aren’t ready to clear Trump in the Russia investigation. About six in 10 continue to believe the president obstructed justice, results showed. Another three are absolutely certain he did. And one in 10 watches Sean Hannity.

The poll, sponsored by the Associated Press, shows a majority of responders want Congress to keep investigating:
Trump, the Trump campaign, the Trump Organization, the now-defunct Trump Foundation (hey, you never know), the Trump children (especially the nitwit sons and son-in-law), the Trump Inaugural’s finances, Trump hotels (round up the illegals), Trump’s golf courses for contributing to global warming, Trump’s corrupt tax returns and personal finances, Trump’s corrupt bankers and accountants, Trump’s corrupt lawyers, Trump’s corrupt siblings (especially the sister who was a federal judge who retired before being kicked off the bench for illegally withholding millions in taxes from the feds and New York State), Trump’s corrupt and/or incompetent Cabinet choices (Pruitt, Zinke, Carson, Acosta, DeVos, Ross, Nielsen, really?), his bromances with Netanyahu, Putin, Kim, Saudi’s crown prince, the guy in Brazil and, oh, that stupid Trump University scam some more.
